Plant Assortments

nursery_lunaria_gardens_philadelphia gardens plants organic
A selection of cool-weather, frost-hardy edibles, flowers, and ornamental plants.

Not sure what should be planted when? Want to try some different plants that aren’t usually found in garden centers? Take the guesswork out of the garden with a professionally curated selection of naturally grown edibles, cut flower crops, and native perennials tailored to your site conditions. Within 24 hours of placing order, you will receive an email prompting you to customize your assortment. We will ask about sun access, growing conditions, and preferred yields, so we can craft a palate of plants suited to your needs, (even if you only have container gardens!)

Depending on your customization selections, the assortment can include a range of plant sizes, from large plug size through gallon containers. Sometimes, small packets of seeds are included for fast-growing annual crops that dislike root disturbance, or for supplemental succession plantings for continuous harvest. Most of the plants are herbaceous, while a select few are woody perennials.

Unless requested, large shrubs, trees, or houseplants are not included in our assortments at this time. These are available a la carte at the nursery or farmers markets, or via special order. For large gardens, or sharing with friends, you are welcome to place double orders, or purchase additional items a la carte.

Pickup locations include the nursery in Roxborough, and the Chestnut Hill Farmers Market on Saturdays. We will send out a scheduling email closer to pickup range. Delivery is available for a fee upon request.
