Fall Internship Opportunity, West Philadelphia

Lunaria Gardens is offering an internship opportunity, October through mid-December 2020, at our new growing site and studio at Pentridge Station in West Philadelphia.

Job type: Part-time internship, hours to be discussed
Compensation: Unpaid/ student credit. A stipend may be available for BIPOC, West Philadelphia native, and trans applicants.

Position Description:
Some of this season’s projects include:

▪ Field work: weeding, mulching, bed prep

▪ Planting: seeds, plugs, corms, bulbs, perennials

▪ Design studio improvements: light construction, inventory organization

▪ Harvesting, drying flowers

▪ Design workshop event support

▪ Photography, social media 

Requirements:
The only requirement is a desire to learn. We are taking COVID seriously and ask that you do too.

Lunaria Gardens is an urban flower farm and design studio, settling into our new home at Pentridge Station in West Philadelphia. This fall, we’re increasing our crop production area, wholesaling to local florists, planning a couple design workshops, and aiming to make our studio a lovely and efficient place to work.
